What is Metatrader?
MetaTrader is a trading software developed by MetaQuotes Software for online trading. Widely utilized by retail exchange traders, it functions as a client to a server typically operated by a brokerage firm. The software serves to provide clients with real-time market status, price charts, indicators, and facilitates the management and placement of orders through the brokerage firm’s platform. MetaTrader is an extensible software, enabling clients to run scripts and robots to automate trading activities and update stock information.
In the realm of MetaTrader, there are two versions: MetaTrader 4 and MetaTrader 5. Both versions share the same core purpose, with the key distinction being that MetaTrader 5 is the latest iteration of the two.
Requirements

Additionally, make sure you have a Remote Desktop Client for Windows. If you’re on Linux or Mac, explore other available remote clients for your platform. 2. Once you are in the Server Manager, click on Configure this local server. This will take you to the Local Server Administration window.
3. Now, click on On in the IE Enhanced Security Configuration.
4. Select Off for Administrators and click OK.
5. Close the Server Manager to finalize this step. Disabling Enhanced IE Security is complete for now. You have the option to turn it back on later after the Metatrader installation is finished.
Metatrader 5 Installation Guide
To install MetaTrader 5, visit http://www.metatrader5.com/en/download and click on Download MetaTrader 5. This will download the application for subsequent installation.
After the download is complete, open the application to initiate the installation. You will initially be greeted with a Terms of License page. Click on Yes, I agree with all terms of this license agreement and then click Next.
Afterward, it will download the required files. Wait for the download to complete, then click Next.
Once installed, you will be able to select a Trading Server. After selecting your desired trading server, click on Next.
Enter your account details, including your login name and password, before you can start trading. If you want to create a demo account or try out the features of the software, you can select “New Demo Account.”
